The Paul Gauguin cruise was an exceptional experience and I am so glad you steered us to that vs the Windstar.  We saw the Windstar anchored alongside us in Bora Bora and there is no way that ship could match the PG experience.  We were blown away by the service level on the PG – service to food to activities – they do such a phenomenal job with that ship and the whole Tahiti experience.

The Sofitel was exactly what we were looking for in the OW bungalow experience, and a perfect recommendation for us.  The coral gardens surrounding the lagoon there was a playground for us and while we had planned to do a bunch of activities on the island we spent 3 days lazying around the room and enjoying the lagoon and the spectacular water.  We just didn’t want to leave the property.

The flights back were brutally long but well worth the experience.

Working with Carl to plan our honeymoon was a delight. When I first started contacted travel agents I was some what discouraged as they were very slow at responding or did not provide the info or quote I wanted. This was not so with Carl. I emailed Carl a general message asking for information and within
20 minutes he had called me personally. This was a very nice touch. Carl was extremely knowledgeable about Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora where we were planning on going and made very good recommendations which led to a better trip for us. Carl was always available to answer my calls or emails and was very personable and professional. We loved how Carl mailed out an information package about each of our destinations which included info on sightseeing, restaurants, etc. We also loved how Carl mailed us cute Tahiti luggage tags. It was these little touches that made our trip feel extra special and made us feel like valued customers not just another number like one can sometimes feel with bigger travel agencies. Our whole trip went off without a hitch and we truly believe this was due to Carl’s meticulous planning. Carl was sharp on returning response to initial quote request, along with an attractive presentation and advice from his personal experience in the islands regarding the accommodation chosen and flight connections.
